Upper Clackamas Whitewater Festival - Heather Herbeck-
"The Kayaking Mindset"

This presentation is for any boater wanting to excel and get over the roadblockHeather Herbecks that limit their progression.  I will be introducing ways that beginner boaters through experienced boaters will be able to put together their own "mental training program.

Heather Herbeck is a guide and kayak instructor for Wet Planet Whitewater and a Jackson Kayak Team member. Heather's main focus is encouraging women and kids to get into the sport of kayaking, by organizing kids clinics and her "Paddle and Pamper" series, specifically for women. Through her own experiences, she has come to develop ways to emphasize not only the physical "kayaking skills", but also the whole mental side of the sport.

Heather has presented her topic of "The Kayaking Mindset" at many outdoor expos throughout the United States, as well as the 2007 Whitewater Symposium in Maryland.

She and her husband work together on their film business, Sheer Madness Productions, and have recently released their second whitewater kayaking film, "Toxic Waters".  Visit her online at  www.liquidkayak.com
